EUROPAEUM Policy Seminar: Policy Making Inside Europe

The EUROPAEUM is pleased to invite applications for our traditional Policy Making Seminar (normally taking place in Brussels). This special 2021 online Policy Seminar, organized in collaboration with the European Parliamentary Research Service (DG EPRS) is a joint effort to link academic and policy institutions, contributing to a better understanding of the process of preparation and implementation of EU policies. Programme will include talks and discussions with those at the sharp end of policy and decision-making in Brussels. This on-line edition will focus on how key areas of European policy are made covering core themes such as: the future of the Europe; EU crisis management; Brexit and post-COVID economic recovery; EU and global order; protecting fundamental rights and supporting democracy around the globe. More detailed discussion in working groups will be organized with the accent on pluralism of opinions, recommendations and understanding of key policy challenges. We welcome applications from master’s and doctoral students from within the EUROPAEUM network. Applications should include our application form, a CV and a paragraph about why you want to participate and how the topic relates to your research.
